I started training at that Crossfit just for kicks. I'm thinking I might get a membership so I can show up to all the pk classes and get some kick ass conditioning in. Would be nice to have some company. Anyone in?

How much for a membership? I probably can't commit right now, but once school starts up (and I tell my work that they should diaf) then I should be more available.

I'm asking about the student discount! My step-daughter is getting interested in parkour. Tell me about it?

Wow, amazing. I've been trying to figure out whether I'll go back to gymnastics or martial arts this season, but now PK is in the picture too.. and it's winning. As soon as I start school & have less working hours during the week, I'll most likely start taking classes there.

you can't hurt me... :P that's my job...

it's not bad...got me some ice n stuff on it...among other things...

i liked it a lot...it had a lot of good footwork drills, and i'm REALLY digging the "variable obstacle generation" as we trace...

we should engineer a self altering parkour puzzle board style room that would change itself according to your skill...and you'd have to try to make it...say...across the room...but to it kinda like the old wooden labyrinth game...the maze with marbles?

Btw, for those wanting to go from NW Crossfit to Gas Works on Saturday, take the 26 at NE Ravenna Blvd & Woodlawn Ave NE. It'll take you to N 35th St & Wallingford Ave N and then just walk .3 mi SE to Gas Works.

I was trying to figure this out last week, so hopefully this'll help out some one else. ;)

Update! We now have TWO vault boxes, and even MORE precision trainers. Plus, the outside bar-work area has a roof now, so we can keep our friction in the rain. Oh, and all of the obstacles have been lovingly hand painted by our pnwpa crew. Royal blue FTW!

This sounds like a great place to pick up where I left off. I talked to Tyson for a little yesterday on AIM, got some good input from him, and I've been training some small balance hops barefoot. Like some say: "The best shoe, is no shoe." Anyhow, I think coming to NW crossfit via CT would be a bit of a wait, but I don't mind. So long as I get a ride to the Everett station, get to where I'm going and get home I could care less. Sounds like a plan to me, I'll be in either Thursday or Saturday, maybe even start attending some jams to open up my perception of approaches, angles and ideas.

~Mike

p.s. Sounds like the recent additions and the painting really give it a zest.

so wait a minute here. this may be a stupid question, but how long does the unlimited last/what does it include? perhaps it's premature since i haven't actually gone yet, but from all the hype it seems to be well worth the investment ;)
